| The Immigration Service (USCIS) just ruined my chances of applying to medical school for a year. I've lost a year of my life...
And I can't go and see my family this summer, or attend my PhD graduation, or go to my best friend's wedding.

| Okay folks...
Some of you may know that there are rather a lot of good films coming out in the next few months. In fact, there is a great film coming out almost every week (if not two) until at least the end of August.
This includes big, dumb popcorn flicks (Pirates 3, Harry Potter, Rush Hour 3, Live Free or Die Hard, etc), light horror (28 Weeks Later), more cerebral stuff (1408, Away From Her, The Ex, etc.), loads of comic-related films (Transformers, Fantastic Four 2, Spidey 3, etc.) and much more.
I want to go and watch all of these things, and Sunday night is my only good night to do it.
Therefore, I would like to invite everyone to join me for these Sunday filmic adventures...!
We can pick cinemas as we go, both small and large, as the film suits, near to Arlington, Somerville and Cambridge. Any film that we pick, I can offer a ride to anyone, and if more people join us, we can share cars without a problem.
I'm not asking for committment; come one week and not the next... That's fine with me.
Anyone at all interested?

| Sony released a Playstation 1 emulator firmware for the PSP a few weeks ago, but you can only buy the 5 games from the Sony online store (for $10 a pop) to play on it, it doesn't accept your old PS1 games, and you need a Playstation 3 to buy the games and transfer them to your PSP!
Thankfully, a kind soul took it upon himself to hack the Sony firmware to bits and improve it.
You can now load your game ISOs (just copy your old PS1 discs and convert them!) straight onto the PSP memory stick and play them. No Sony store, no PS3, no limited range of games that you have to pay $10 each for.
Of course, there is only one game that people want to play... Without further ado, I give you.... Cloud's first limit break, 'Braver'.
